Lindsay Kemp (Cheshire, UK, 3 May 1938 - Livorno, Italy, 25 August 2018) was a British choreographer, actor, dancer, mime and director. He staged and performed in David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust concerts at London's Rainbow Theatre in August 1972 and was a teacher of dance and mime during the early 1970s, counting Bowie and Kate Bush as his students. Bush later wrote the song Moving, which appeared on her debut album The Kick Inside, as a tribute to Kemp. He left England in 1979 for Spain and then Italy, where he occasionally worked on opera productions.
