Involved with the label Factory until being sacked in the early 80's after a dispute with the directors. Managed the band 52nd Street and also briefly co-managed The Stone Roses but left when the band decided to sign to Zomba. Was a talent scout for Polydor before becoming head of A&R in the UK for Hollywood Records. Was married to Anthony H. Wilson in 1977, they divorced 5 years later.
