A.k.a. Michele Mattera
Born in 1925, died November 11th 2011, Lino Mattera was a neapolitan singer and theatre actor. His debut was in 1948 as a singer, during the Piedigrotta traditional review. He then started to play theatre roles with maestro Viviani, De Simone and Russo. In the early 60s he joined the Eduardo De Filippo theatre company. In 1963 he also acted (and sang) in "Adelina", an episode written by Eduardo De Filippo for the movie "Ieri Oggi Domani" directed by Vittorio De Sica and in 1964 he was in the cast of "Matrimonio All'italiana", still directed by De Sica.
