Already beginning to take the Deep House music scene by storm, Liquid Phonk have returned to Lifted with a new EP: Why Don't You / Wood and Brass. Why Don't You is simply a gorgeous track, with ridiculously smooth keys, a funky vocal hook and some super-sleek beats. If you're not shaking your ass to this, you're probably kicking back bopping your head with a smile on your face. Nick Humphrey has injected his version of Why Don't You with a deep, dark club vibe. Its haunting melody and chords will have clubbers swimming around dancefloors. The addition of the original vocal opens up the track and gives it an even more haunting feel. Nick has also tipped his hat to the German Duo with a small snippet of the keys in an unexpected breakdown. The EP is closed with another super-rich, super-smooth track, pieced together with emotional keys, lazy sounding brass and a floating vocal to get you shuffling.
