Single US 1984 on Specialty label
Rock, R&B/Soul and Pop (Rock’n’Roll)
Title on spine: Little Richard's Specialty Hits Volume One. All Original Recordings. Limited Edition Six Record Set on Colored Vinyl. Side L title in label "Kansas City / Hey-Hey-Hey-Hey (A Medley)" is wrong, as the original title of this recording released on The Fabulous Little Richard and on Kansas City is "Kansas City". Little Richard did never performed a medley ""Kansas City / Hey-Hey-Hey-Hey", as both different versions of "Kansas City" was recorded in autumn 1955, whereas "Hey-Hey-Hey-Hey" was recorded in May 1956. So the "medley" is a mistake, due to the intervention of an insufficiently informed person from Venice Music (see Notes to Beatles For Sale).
