A.k.a. Sister 7
Based out of Austin, Texas (later known as "Sister 7" was comprised of vocalist Patrice Pike, Guitarist - Wayne Sutton, Bassist - Darrell Phillips and Drummer - Sean Phillips. They formed out of an impromptu 1991 jam session. The group "originally dubbed Little Sister" debuted on the SBK/EMI label in 1994 with a live EP "Free Love and Nickel Beer". A mixture of fusion and hard rock, funk and hip-hop. They self-financed Little Sister (self titled) and recorded the LP for Rhythmic Records in 1994. After signing to the Arista Austin label, "Sister 7" resurfaced in 1997 with "This the Trip - Wrestling Over Tiny Matters" followed in the spring of 2000.
