Bassist, keyboardist and percussionist. After Platypus disbanded, Lloyd went on the road for awhile and started playing with a rock and roll band, who found him through the musicians’ union when they were coming through town. The band was doing the Holiday Inn circuit and Lloyd toured with them for about eight months, working every week on the road. He bought some equipment and came back to Dayton. Shortly after that, about 1986, he got married and started his own band, Two Below, which lasted about ten years. Two Below worked every week including NBA functions and NFL gigs for the Indiana Pacers and the Indianapolis Colts.
