Analog electronic side project of Vincent Presley. After playing for a few years in various punk bands (Housecat-Sized Fennec, Blasphematics), VP stopped playing in live bands for a few years and focussed on analog synthesizers and tape recorders. Between 1999 and 2003 only two Logan 5 shows were played while an LP, a CD EP, and two cassettes were released. After the 2004 release of "As We Become The Smunn" the band started playing shows again but under the name "The Smunn". The project stopped in 2006 when VP went back to live rock bands (Window Smashers, Forsake Ya To The Snakes, Zebras, & Those Poor Bastards) until the self titled album was re-released and periodic live shows started again in 2013.
