Jazz, Folk, World and (Folk, Free Improvisation)
The Child Ballads are three hundred and five traditional ballads from England and Scotland, and their American variants, anthologised by Francis James Child during the second half of the nineteenth century. In these recordings, traditional lyrics and melodies form the guiding principle for experimental interpretations of six of the Child Ballads.
