One of Lord Melody's most obscure singles, released on the Jamaican mento label Motta's Recording Studios, which may account for its rarity. Estimated release date of 1955. Melody recorded a version of Boy Days for Vitadisc that year, and often recut songs multiple times for different markets rather than risk shipping master tapes/stampers. Reissued on 45 several years later. Melody would go on to recut The Whistler and Boy Days several times. The Whistler was recut as Blackbird.
