Songwriter credited as "G. Blackman" (Garfield Blackman). Accompanying band credited as "Ed Watson & Brass Circle." This single was primarily released, distributed and sold by Antillana Records in Trinidad & Tobago for the Trinidad Carnival season in 1969 but was pressed in Barbados (most likely by the popular pressing plant run by West Indies Records Ltd, Applethwaites Estate, St. Thomas, Barbados, W. I.) and then exported back to Trinidad & Tobago for the 1969 Carnival season. Lord Shorty was a Trinidad & Tobago based calypso and soca artist so most of his calypso releases in the 1960's, 1970's, 1980's & 1990's were primarily released for the Trinidad & Tobago music market. Antillana is a record company that was based in Trinidad & Tobago between 1968 and 1975 approximately.
