A.k.a. The Deadly Organs

Described as "The Krautful Dead", Lorde Awesome's sound ranges between harsh noise and minimalist drones, with nods to early 70's Berlin; all analogue, all monophonic. The core of the band is Avery Strok on synthesizers and Richard Vainio on guitar. Lorde Awesome began their monthly residency at Toronto's Only Cafe, on May 5th, 2011; the night is known as In-Between Sounds. The band has existed since July, 2008.
