Born: March 17, 1931, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Died: January 31, 1983. Lorraine recorded with two gospel groups, the Ellison Singers and the Golden Chords, but left the latter in 1964 to pursue a solo career in R & B music. She released a few songs that hit the R & B and pop charts during the mid-60's.
