Album UK 1969 on Chapter 1 label
Jazz, Latin and Pop (Bossa Nova, Vocal, Latin Jazz, Easy Listening)
"Los Novintos" are Tony Nova and Francisco Pinto. They love and feel Latin American music. Tony and Francisco appeared on many club stages but, for five nights a week in the late 1960's, they were resident at Thatchers Restaurant in the heart of the Surrey countryside in the UK. This was very apt, as I personally was part owner of that restaurant. On the face of things, it would seem the most unlikely place to hear Latin American music, but there is a well known saying in Show Business: "The proof of the appeal is in the attendance", and by the audiences they attracted every evening, their music was certainly appealing. I am sure you will agree with this statement when you listen to the pulsating rhythms, the lilting melodies of the Caribbean, as sung and played by "Los Novintos". Laminated Cover With "Clarifoil"
