A.k.a. Louis Anthony Guarino Sr.

American arranger, producer, label owner, and businessman from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Founded the record label American Music Makers, as well as Calico, Robbee and World Artists Records with partner Lennie Martin. Guarino was responsible for launching the careers of several well known recording artists including The Skyliners, best known for their hit "Since I Don't Have You", in addition to the British duo Chad & Jeremy who reached #7 on the US charts with "A Summer Song." Later in his career, he purchased Capitol Records Pressing Plant, Scranton, the largest record pressing plant in the country. Born August 4, 1932, died September 25, 2014.
