Hip-Hop/Rap and Pop
Bred in the streets of Oakland - California, Lou Rose inherited a unique swag, which is translated to his deep passion for music. Lou Rose at 12 years old was strongly influenced by many artists from all types of genres throughout different generations including urban artists/groups and lyricists such as the late Tupac Shakur, Notorious B.I.G., Outkast, Too Short, Three 6 Mafia, R. Kelly, Jamie Foxx, New Edition, Guy, Jackson 5 just to name a few. However, it was not until he partnered up with a group of friends as a rap rookie in the late 1990’s that he finally got to showcase his rap skills which helped spawned his creativity in Hip Hop and R&B/Rap and continue to pursue his addiction for music. While never giving up on the American Dream, the young rapper then delivered his first local club hit track “Long Island Ice Tea” in summer of 2006 and composed numerous mix tapes. Late summer of 2009, he then dropped his debut album “Evolution” which gained underground access to help reach his first major music milestone. April 2011, he then dropped “FREEWORLD” with guest on Over Night Celebrity stating the album as “..Lou Rose is the new bay sound!” while later releasing “Color Me Bad” in September 2011 and is currently working on another album titled, “Love & Loyalty” which will release some time early in the new year. As CEO and founder of Global 1 Music Group, the young entrepreneur successfully bridges an exclusive deal with UrbanLife and AWAL Distribution with one goal in mind, to deliver his music across the globe.
