Originally from New York City, He is based now in Austin, TX Lino's current studio work is producing, engineering and playing for on albums by Nada Surf, Matt Pond PA, The New Pornographers, Eternal Summers, Sally Crewe, Jaill, Moving Panoramas, John Wesley Coleman III and many others. As a composer, Lino's created award-winning sound identities for TV stations and commercial projects have included clients such as HBO, VH-1, NBC, Fox News, ESPN, Volkswagen and Starwood Resorts. Louie Lino’s career in music began by absorbing everything that is great about New York City’s vibrant musical culture and then distilling it to his own matrix of creative essentials. As a player, composer, producer, recordist, and mixer, he’s worn many hats, making music in many different styles and media. Resonate studio in Austin is Louie’s home base.
