Louis Biancolli


Excerpt from June 16th, 1992 New York Times obituary: "Mr. Biancolli was a music critic for The New York World-Telegram and Sun from 1928 to 1966 and the annotator for the New York Philharmonic Society from 1941 to 1949. He earned a master's degree from New York University in 1936 and did graduate work in Russian at Columbia University from 1936 to 1938. He was a member of the American Council of Learned Societies and Phi Beta Kappa."
