10 January 1934 – 9 August 2013 Geordie folk singer and English concertina player, born and bred in Gateshead, Tyneside. One of the founders of the Bridge Folk Club, in Newcastle upon Tyne. Moved to America in 1967 during which time he joined The Clancy Brothers from 1971-74, recording 4 albums with them. He moved back to the UK in 2003, returning to Gateshead. Changed name and gender from Louis Killen to Louisa Jo Killen later in her life.
