Louis Graeler, Violinist, 74 Published: December 15, 1987 Louis Graeler, a violinist and member of the Kroll Quartet for 20 years, died of cardiac arrest Dec. 8 in Tokyo, where he lived. He was 74 years old. Mr. Graeler also played under Arturo Toscanini in the NBC Symphony Orchestra, and was concertmaster of Symphony of the Air and the New York City Ballet's orchestra. In 1960, he became concertmaster of the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, and later was concertmaster of the New Japan Philharmonic. He is survived by his wife, Yuko, of Tokyo, and a son, John, of Los Angeles.
