It was in 2000 that Louis Ville decided to start a solo career and his first album "Pourri Hotel" was born. He is greeted by critics in a concert of praise. The song "Rotten Hotel", of the same name as the album, will forever mark the attachment of its audience. In 2003 appeared "One drop", dark album, in love ("love me"), desperate ("a drop"), filled with derisory and sordid stories where the words are sometimes tinged with a very raw eroticism to achieve a sublime and dark incandescence. In 2005, the grand prize of interpretation from the Center de la Chanson was awarded to him, confirming the recognition of his talent. In April 2007, released "To choose" (at Beside). A third opus in the image of its author, elegant and tormented at the same time. Louis reinvents "love", depicts the human in "bears", puts to music a poem desperate Richard Rognet ("wait for me") to achieve a sublime and dark magnificence, a flamboyant desperation ("To choose") ). The album which received a very good reception will be programmed on many radios including France Inter, in playlist. In March 2011, Louis presents "Cinémas", his fourth album at Balandras Editions. "Cinémas" is a moving ballad that revisits American road movies, French cinema of the 50s, American black films of the sixties, the Fellinian universe and many others. The feather of Louis is still as original and chiseled, the voice more haunting and moving yet. There is so much love, so much flamboyance, so much joy, so much mockery in this "Cinemas" that it will not leave us any more, and the images will pass for a long time before our eyes and our hearts, like an endless film.
