A BMus graduate of University College Cork, in her hometown of Cork, Ireland, Louise made the move to London in 2009 having being awarded a scholarship to study at Tech Music Schools Vocal Department. Sponsored by ‘The Stage’ magazine, Ola Onabule renowned Jazz/Soul artist was a member of the judging panel along with Head of Vocals, Iain Mckenzie (Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra). Throughout 2009/2010 Louise had a number of articles featured in ‘The Stage’ and whilst at Tech Music School Louise was awarded Songwriter of the Year, for her original composition, “Not my Problem” (Vocals: Lindsey Morgan) She has performed in various venues across London, most notably Shepherds Bush Empire and The Roundhouse. More recently she has performed alongside Boy George, Mark Ronson and acapella sensations, The Magnets as part of the Roundhouse Choir. As a session vocalist Louise has enjoyed success working with producers aligned with Paloma Faith, Adele, Plan B, Depeche Mode and Robbie Williams. Daughter of Don Murphy (6).
