Love and Radiation is the project of Chicago-based musicians Adele and Lakshmi. During the day, Adele works as a civil rights lawyer and Lakshmi as a doctoral student at the University of Chicago. By night, they become Love and Radiation. Love and Radiation spin narratives of transition and transformation by exploring themes of darkness and light, power and weakness, city and wilderness. Featuring dark lyrical imagery against a backdrop of propulsive beats, distorted guitars, and melodic synths, Love and Radiation make haunting music you can dance to. The band's debut full-length record, You Will Know Me, was released on April 9, 2013. Evoking meditative forests alongside pulsing dance floors, You Will Know Me explores darkness and ritualism with an urgency hard to dismiss. Love and Radiation toured the East Coast in April and May 2013.
