Lovett is the son of renowned Philadelphia jazz musician and educator Lovett Hines Jr. and Gospel Singer Sandra Longs-Philson. Lovett III is a designer and musician living in Brooklyn, NY. He is the lead singer and songwriter for the band Saint Blue while collaborating with many other acts. While studying graphic design at School of Visual Arts, Lovett designed CD and vinyl packaging for several Hip-Hop acts including Black Moon, Coco Brovaz and Originoo Gun Clappaz (O.G.C.)
