‘Synd.’ is Lovisa Negga’s second full-length album. This time, she’s even more honest and doesn’t hold back her feelings even the slightest. Negga’s sound has developed into a more mature and electronic soundscape than at her debut. Rich synthezisers along with pulsating kick drums lift her lyrics higher than ever. The first track ’Inte Riktigt Någon Tjej För Dig’ talks of a feeling we’ve all felt, at some point in our lives. Standing in the middle of a crowd but still feeling like the loneliest person in the world, it’s an evident soundtrack ”You said I seem pretty okay, but not really a girl for you”. The dance track ’Den Enda Gången Man Har Oflyt’ almost makes you blush from it’s frankness, just like you would, reading a secret snippet from somebody’s diary. Just as confident as intense, Negga delivers nine different feelings packaged in fierce synthezisers with imaginary over-sized ribbons wrapped tightly around each word.
