Famous romanian folk taragotist father of Ion Luță Ioviță ✰ 1883, Dalci, Turnu Ruieni, Caraș-Severin County ✞ 1954, Timișoara Begin his career in folk ensemble led by Pera. Soon became part of Alexe Drugă folk ensemble. While doing his military service in Seghedin and Budapest, he learns to sing at torogoată, instrument built by Vencel József Schunda in cooperation with the musicologist Káldy Gyula. Soon became famous playing with voice and at torogoată. Later, he urged his son Niță (later known as the Ion Ioviță Luță) to sing with voice Was first romanian folk instrumentist who played at taragot or torogoată.
