Luca Maniaci is a young DJ and Producer from Italy, born in 1990 in a small town near the Sicilian sea. He always listened to good music. Thanks to his mother, Luca grew up listening to Pink Floyd, The Beatles, The Doors, The Rolling Stones, and many other rock legends. He grew up listening to a lot of Old-School Rap too, artists like Tupac, N.W.A, The Notorious B.I.G., Eminem, Cypress Hill, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mobb Deep, G-Unit and so on. It was during his adolescence that he discovered electronic music, thanks to artists like John Digweed, Sasha, Josh Wink, Sven Väth, The Prodigy, Underworld, Nathan Fake, Mathew Jonson, Underground Resistance and many others. He DJ'd and produced for several years, making different styles of music, until he found his realization in Techno music. Luca has released his music via some of the biggest record labels in the scene, like Ovum Recordings (Philadelphia), Solar Distance (Madrid), Flash Recordings (Berlin) and Area Remote (Amsterdam), just to name a few. Over the years, his music has been played by several legendary DJ's like John Digweed, Josh Wink, 2000 and One, Kölsch, Richie Hawtin, Steve Rachmad, Scuba, UMEK, Anja Schneider, UNER and many others. In his DJ sets and productions you will always find elements of Techno and House music. He loves synthesizers as well as real instruments. In fact, he is a huge fan of legendary artists like Hans Zimmer, Ennio Morricone, Brian Eno, John Williams, Ryūichi Sakamoto, Alva Noto, Aphex Twin, John Carpenter, Wim Mertens, Yann Tiersen and so on. In 2017 Luca launched his own label 'Mind Games Recordings', where he release his own music alongside well known names from the scene as well as new undiscovered talents that fit with Luca's concept of music.
