Lucas Bolaño Rucabado. Toledo, Spain 1981. Composer, sound designer and graduate in Fine Arts combines his self-produced music projects between pop (as ELM , Experimental Little Monkey) and experimentation and free improvisation (as Lucas Bolaño) collaborating with some others musicians and collectives from Madrid scene. His work is developed from field recordings, electric and acoustic instruments, emulators and edition and has been represented in diferent places like Intermediae Matadero de Madrid or Auditorium from Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía and selected in differents international sound calls like Sound-in, Intersticios Sonoros or In Sonora VIII Works for audiovisual projects like cinema , advertising and video art. ルーカス・ボラーニョ・ルカバード スペイン、トレド出身。1981年生まれ。 作曲家、サウンドデザイナー。芸術大学卒業。 ELM, エクスペリメンタル・リトル・モンキーとして活動中、実験音楽、即興音楽を混合した独自のスタイルを築き、マドリードの音楽シーンでさまざまなアーティストたちとのコラボレーションを行っている。これまでにフィールドレコーディング、電子楽器、アコースティック楽器をエディット構築した作品を制作。 現在まで、マドリードのインターメディア（Intermediae Matadero Madrid）やソフィア王妃芸術センター、Sound-In, Intersticios Sonors, Sonora VIIIなどの音楽シーンで取り上げられている。 About Impermanencia: popmuzik records finally relesed 3rd release album. "Impermanencia" is the studio album by Lucas Bolaño. Impermanence doesn't really exist as a word in Spanish and the idea of it becoming the title for the album came about after chatting with some friends. Such a term can only be found in texts in the sphere of Buddhism and is a reference to transience, to how everything is in a constant state of flux; every atom, every instance, us at every level. I am interested in the small variations that happen with repetition or how repetition doesn't actually exist but is, rather, only a concept. What I find interesting in the static, dense nature of the minimal or drone-like proposals linked to this album are those small "mistakes" inexecution, variations in space or perception and the slow development of the musical structures. アルバム名Impermanencia（インパーマネンシア）とは、Permanencia（パーマネンシア＝永続性）と反対の意味をなす非永続性を意味し、Perseverance（パーシヴィランス＝不変、忍耐）と同様の意味合い持つ。 アーティストLucas Bolanoの母国スペインでは、Impermanencia（インパーマネンシア）のような語句は存在しないが、単語の前に「im」をつけることによって真逆の意味に変化するような言葉はいくつも存在する。この言葉を辞書などで見つける事はできないが、仏教関連の文献などで見られることがあり、日本語で俗にいう「無常」という言葉に近い意味合いを持っている。私たちは、一瞬でさえも全くの同じときを経験することはない。それは、ドローン音楽でも表明することができる。「同じことの連続」に聴こえるドローンの波長は、小さな変化が幾度も重なり合い、「持続」を表す。しかし、「持続」自体もミクロの変化の集合体であることから、「持続」＝同じことの繰り返しとは言い難い。 この「Impermanencia」という、不変性を的確に表現する言葉を他の言語で見つけるのは、容易ではなさそうだ。 ※アーティストの制作コンセプトにより、アナログ用外装ビニール袋は破棄して「Impermanencia」の風合いの経過をお楽しみください。
