A.k.a. Luis Neves Bengoa
Born in Arequipa in 1936, earning a scholarship to the Regional School of Music at age 12. He career in several countries, particularly in Argentina, where he had a night club. "Modern Peru", recorded in 1966 for IEMPSA under Odeon, is just one of the many good things he did as an arranger, along with the LPs "Lima Evening" (for Sono Radio) and "sentimental Piano".
