Freelance cellist and teacher, who studied at the Royal Academy of Music and Birmingham Conservatoire. Based in London, Lucia enjoys a busy performing life playing the baroque cello, cello, and viola da gamba. She works as a chamber musician, continuo cellist and leader, across Europe, Asia, and throughout the UK. Specialising in early music, Lucia is involved with a number of ensembles as a performer and director. Alongside historical performance, she plays contemporary music and jazz, and has a passion for working with other art forms such as theatre, circus, poetry.
