Singer of Rock, Pop and Alternative

Singer/songwriter originally from Bristol, moved to London in 1987. Lucy Ray cut her teeth in the early 80’s punk scene with three piece band Cold (9), moving on to New Wave/Romantic duo Balloon Music. Her debut album ‘When I Grow Up’ was released by Cycle Records in 1996. Further releases followed; The Hymn in Her (2000), Lucy Ray (2002), and High Ground (2005). In 2006 Lucy took a break from recording, performing and touring to move into academia. Lucy Ray plans a return to her rock roots with the recording of her fifth studio album ‘Mad Cowboy Disease’ due for release in October 2016.
