Packaged in smooth sided jewel case with 12 page booklet. In booklet: The cannon and musket fire heard on this recording of "Wellington's Victory" was digitally recorded on July 2, 1983 during the annual shoot held at the Eastover Resort in Lenox, Massachusetts. The digital cannons and muskets were recorded and mixed using the Soundstream Digital recording and editing facilities. Technical information: Recorded in Music Hall, Cincinnati on September 10, 1982. Microphones: Schoeps Colette Series Recorder: Soundstream Digital Tape Recorder Console: Neotek Monitor Speakers: ADS Model 1530 biamplified, ADS Model C2000 Crossover Power Amplifiers: Trheshold Model S/500 Stasis Interconnecting Cables: Audio-Technica Control Room Acoustic Treatment: Sonex forom illbruck/usa Digital Editing: JVC AE-90 During the recording of the digital masters and the subsequent transfer to disc, the entire audio chain was transformerless. The signal was not passed through any processing device (i.e., compression, limiting, or equalization) at any step during production. Sampling frequency conversion of Telarc's Soundstream digital master to the Compact Disc format was accomplished with the Studer SFC-16 sampling frequency converter. The digital information was not subject to any analog intersteps, thus preserving the integrity of the original digital master. Original master digitally recorded by Soundstream, Inc.
