Issued in a gatefold cover. Included 11x11 insert of battle scene with English/French info about people portrayed. Monaural version Brief overview of liner notes: Beethoven's Symphonic Battle Piece "Wellington's Victory" represents a project of considerable magnitude in which three Orchestras with augmented sections of Brass and Percussion, numbers of flintlock muskets and a battery of field artillery. The musical score: recorded in June of 1960 at Wembley Town hall, London. The battle effects were taped at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in August of the same year. P. I. Tchaikovsky, many years later wrote the overture called 1812.
