Born in Buenos Aires, in 1942. Licensed in musical composition in the Faculty of Arts and Musical Sciences of the Catholic University / Argentina. Among his teachers Alberto Ginastera, Roberto Caamaño, Gerardo Gandini and Roberto Locatelli. Studied direction and choral with Jesus Segade. Scholarship from 1968 to 1969: Institute of High Musical Studies, Torcuato Di Tella. Scholarship from 1969 to 1970: from the French government and the Association Wagneriana of Buenos Aires, to study in 'Centre de Recherches Musicales' Pierre Bourdan (ORTF) and the Conservatoire National de Paris, where he took, for 2 years, courses taught by Pierre Schaeffer.
