A.k.a. Łukasz Pawlikowski
Łukasz Pawlikowski is an award-winning cellist from Krakow, Poland, currently residing in U.S. His compositions and performances have been heard on stages throughout Poland, Europe, and US. He is the son of violinist/violist Jascha Lieberman and cellist Dorota Imielowska. Already in his career he has worked along side Polish legend Krzysztof Penderecki . In June, 2010, he invited Pawlikowski to work under his direction on the interpretation of his Capriccio per Siegfried Palm and other contemporary oeuvres. He also participated, as a member of the group of ten Polish cellists, in the educational encounters with Arto Noras. In November 2012, Pawlikowski was invited to play for opening of The European Krzysztof Penderecki Center for Music, first at the Polish Senate hall, second on the Center scene and in November 2013, Pawlikowski performed as a soloist in Deutsche Oper Berlin on Penderecki's 80th anniversary concert. He has studied at Berklee College of Music with Darol Anger, Eugene Friessen, and others.
