Band,
A.k.a. Michael Renfield, Marc Dean
Created in 1997 by Michael Renfield and Marc Dean. The duo played numerous performances in the Phoenix, AZ area blending complex electronic structures, noise and experimental ideas, and guttural bass tones. In 1998 Marc left the band and Robert Tuxbury joined, not as a musician, but as a live performance coordinator and theatrical designer. The first album "Repressing The Pride Of The Spirits", was released in 1997 and featured Marc Dean on bass on the track "Inject The Plastic". As well as Sarah Jennings on "Gray Halo", whom also co-wrote that track. In 1998 the band was renamed L.V.X. Occulta to avoid confusion with another Polish Metal band of the same name. Also three more albums were released through MP3.com. The most significant being "An Atrophic Aeon" in 1999 for which L.V.X. was given an invite for the MP3.com festival in Los Angeles CA. L.V.X. played numerous performances all around the US West coast until 2000 when Michael Renfield broke up the band to join Noise Process.
