Luxury Stranger is an English band mainly influenced by the sounds of European and UK post-punk/cold wave and indie from 1978 - 1984 and the American ‘Grunge’ and punk scenes of the late eighties/early nineties. Although considered by founder member singer/songwriter Simon York as a band, it is a project revolving around Simon with live band members being on a rotating basis.
