Singer / Musician of World and R&B/Soul
American singer, keyboardist, drummer, percussionist and accordionist, born August 7, 1948 in Lafayette, Louisiana. August has been blind since the age of four. He started his career very young, he was hired to play percussion with Esquerita at the age of 12. He played with Buckwheat Zydeco in the '60s. Co-founded Lynn August & The Hot August Knights in 1988, together with saxophonist John Hart (6).
