Lynskey is the main project of Porl Henty, a writer/producer/musician from Ormskirk in the North West of England. Lynskey is a mix of electronic, electric and acoustic instruments thrown into gigantic blender, filtered through a sieve and served on a bed of rocket, watercress and denial. He released his first EP, "The Complete Guide to Space Folk" on Valentine Records in 2004. His first album "Walk and Wake" appeared on Bandcamp in 2009 and was followed in 2011 by a second album, "Idea Prime" and an EP, "Ready for the Empire".
