Album DE 1977 on Old Wacks Records label
Rock (Southern Rock)
Live - JULY 13, 1977 CONVENTION HALL, ASBURY PARK, New Jersey Total Time : 68' 50 Ronnie Van Zant - Vocals Allen Collins - Guitar Steve Gaines - Guitar, Vocals Gary Rossington - Guitar Leon Wilkeson - Bass, Background Vocals Billy Powell - Piano Artimus Pyle - Drums Cassie Gaines - Background Vocals Leslie Hawkins - Background Vocals Jo Jo Billingsly - Background Vocals This is the last known recording of the original Lynyrd Skynyrd band. The band would play only eight more shows before going down in the plane crash on October 20, 1977. This show has long been though to have been a soundboard recording, though the possibility exists that it is an audience recording. Nevertheless, the sound is quite good. There are two short gaps of silence in That Smell, and the first few seconds of Sweet Home Alabama are missing. The performance is amazing,
