b.: August 11, 1884 (Abbeville, France) d.: 1985 Edmond Tirmont was a tenor operatic singer. Starting his singing career (also in operettas) in 1911, he recorded for Pathé, Gramophone (under the pseudonym of Max Doria), Salabert... From 1920 to 1932, he recorded as well for Discoflex and Phonodibel. He's the father of Dominique Tirmont and the grand-father of Frédérique Tirmont, who's the daughter of Dominique Tirmont.
