M.Nomized is an artist that has consistently delivered variations upon a vision; an unique and charming style that is backed up by a competent handling of aural texture and tightly honed compositions. "Minimalist Experiences II", the 2nd chapter of the saga promoted by Hortus Conclusus Records, is definitely a gargantuan album which takes the listener to a high level of perceptual experience. It is utterly engaging and manages to excel in ways which are both dreamlike and unique. It is surreal in the same way a dream is surreal; there is an event and some kind of familiarity exists, yet overall everything is hazy and shrouded in murk, inevitably losing its definition at the edges. All the tracks can only be described as truly masterful and will linger in the mind, demanding and craving repeat listening. "Minimalist Experiences II" is much too varied an album to be represented in any kind of broad stroke or generalization. There are some genuinely creative and surprising moments which will catch you off guard and resonate with something intangible in those parts of your brain which also love watching the mutable geometries of the undertow while reading Artaud.
