TCP dump, the raw data of internet traffic turned into audiofiles (soundhack) is the only sound material used in Metabolic speed perception. Several layers of this sound are then processed and filtered (vst plug-ins, super collider, peak) and edited (deck). No formal-theoretical or aesthetic considerations were employed in the creative process. Track created in 1999. Honorary mention at Ars electronica 1999.
