Album US 2011 on Level Up Records And Tapes label
Hip-Hop/Rap
Solved! The fifth MC Frontalot album. Here is some information about it. It was produced by Damian Hess, Brendan B. Brown, and David T. Cheong. The whole of its content is copyright ©2011 by MC Frontalot for Level Up Records & Tapes. All of its songs are published by Nerdcore Fervor Conglomerated (ASCAP). The recording and mixing took place at a studio called Twenty Five Efforts in Brooklyn, NY, except for acoustic drums, which were engineered by Mark Alan Miller at Slaughterhouse in Westhampton, MA. The mastering was performed by Alex Théorét at Turtle Tone in Manhattan. When rapping, Damian Hess uses the alias MC Frontalot. Some other aliases: David T. Cheong goes by Baddd Spellah; Gaby Alter answers to Gm7; Sturgis Cunningham chose The Sturgenius; Daniel Thiel wanted to be The Categorical Imperative; Ken Flagg remains Vic-20. The lyrics and credits are printed within. These may also be found at frontalot.com, which is accessible via computer. The cover art was drawn by Evan Dorkin and colored by Anthony Clark. The back cover is a painting by Becky Dreistadt. The photograph was taken by Deborah Lopez. The graphic design is by suchascream. The CD was manufactured in the United States at Morphius Records, Baltimore. Each song on this album is secretly the sequel to some other song, so plenty of guessing-game fun is available. This album is dedicated to Gabe Caesar. Special thanks are due to Cheryl Hess, Jennifer Day, Elias Wen-Tian Day Cheong, Sarah Dyer, Brandon Patton, Penelope Horcha, John Hodgman, James Walton, C.K.
