All tracks were recorded at... The Propagation House in Devon during August 2005 except 'Better Things To Do' and 'Dino At The Sands' (recorded... at The Hive in Derby in January and April 2006) and 'Dino At The Sands (Slight Return)' which was... recorded by Mr Jimmy McGee at his house in Brighton during Summer 2005. Additional material on 'The Gay Train', Girlfriend Alarmed' and 'Mental Judo' was recorded... at Memphis Studio in Leicester in March 2006. The album was produced and mixed... in Chester Green, Derby, during 2005 and 2006. It was mastered... at The Hive, Derby in April 2006. The multimedia section... features lyrics, demo versions of most of the songs, the stories of how they came to be written, photographs of the album recording and more. Demo versions came mainly from the following sources: Kazoo Tapes These are the demo tapes that I do for the rest of the band, this time including 'The Silence Of The Kazoos', 'ATAK OF THE KAZOOS' and 'Whistlin' Kazoo'. Sometimes they feature full arrangements, sometimes just the songs played on acoustic guitar. All of these ones were recorded at home in That London. Band Demo Versions This time around we decided to have a go at demo-ing the songs as a band to see how they were sounding, and we did the always marvellous Mr Kev Reverb, who's produced pretty much everything else we've ever done, at Memphis Studio in Leicester. Rehearsal Room Another innovation this time was Actually Learning The Songs, and Mr Frankie Machine brought his mp3 recorder in with him to record any ideas we might have. In addition to this there are the original versions of a couple of songs whose lyrics I re-used, the fortuitously disallowed first version of 'Better Things To Do', and a live radio session. The only song that hasn't got a demo is 'Hey Hey 64K', as we never did one!
