Naming himself after his first events agency (MeanPoint of Impact), MPI Project is the solo act of lo-fi, electro, house, and hip-hop DJ/producer Mike Politis, with his forté being nu-skool breakbeat and drum 'n bass. MPI Project has played as far afield as Israel, Australia, Europe and, of course, back in his adopted home of South Africa. Other acts and aliases include Niteanday, D-Sine, Dubtraction, Airfresh, Terrorbyte, Da Chron, Sub_traction, and Kode 5.
