Swedish singer born 1912. She was introduced as a Swedish "hotcha-girl" in the journal OJ 12/1935. Released her first recording in Mars 1936 as Mae Bell together with the pianists Sten Axelson and Stig Holm. Mabel Albins sung and played the guitar together with Charles Redland in 1936. In 1937 she sung with Sven Fors and his orchestra and with Frank Vernon's orchestra. In 1938 she sung in Malte Johnson's orchestra in Gothenburg and Helsingborg and on tour in Copenhagen and Budapest. When Thore Ehling did his radio debut in October 1938, Mabel Albins sung the refrain. Worked under the pseudonyms Miss Mabel and Mae Bell.
