A.k.a. Malcolm Berg

Swedish drummer and orchestra leader. Born in Stockholm, January 23, 1897, and stated his drummer career in the Swedish Army (Positionsartilleriet). Later he became orchestra leader at Kristallsalongen, Djurgården. He played in the orchestra behind Ernst Rolf until Rolf's death 1932. Then he lead his own orchestras on the night clubs Kaos, Grand Hotell, Hästskobaren and Adion in Stockholm. Berg toured the Soviet Union twice, 1935 and 1937, with a huge dance and show orchestra. Died May 1, 1954.
