Band, BE
Jazz
Originally born as a side-project of douBt, Machine Mass started as a duo record project that Tony Bianco and Michel Delville decided to do during one of their trips to Belgium. They decided to involve a guest musician and quickly hired Jordi Grognard, whose contributions immediately earned him the status of a full band member. The day after the recording, Bianco came up with the Band's name "Machine Mass" but Delville suggested adding the word "trio" because he thought that some people might get the wrong idea and mistake them for a heavy-metal band. By the time of their second release with a new third member David Liebman replacing Jordi Grognard, they were back to the original shorter name Machine Mass.
