Mad Birdies is a project by Robert Krieger from Finland and Massimo Amato (MONO-DRONE) from Italy. The collaboration started around some folk songs composed by Robert and arranged by Massimo. On 'Hila and Maraba' Robert plays pedal harp and all string instruments and Massimo plays harmonium, synthesizer, organ and melodica. They focused their work on traditional melodies to create a unique mix with electronics, as some people did in the middle of seventies. They want to thank all the occasional collaborators and musicians involved in the album.
